I have just brought a temp controller to go in line with the top hose do you think I would be better off bying a 2 core rad with a switch fitted, do you think it would look neater

would look neater but its not adjustable!!

my thoughts are if the water coming out of the engine is too hot the fan shud come on straight away, with the fan switch at the bottom the whole rad has to get hot before the fan would come on!!

:gimme: yay just check the clearance of the fan to the engine breather if u have a 1275! thats y i decided to run without 1! plus thres the power loss too and the fact that the kenlowe stated it was capable of running the cooliong of the system alone!!

u got any piccies of ur finished artical?

I will get some pics up on Sunday showing the fan fitted temporarily in. I have changed the timing case for the flat breather type, giving me the extra room needed. I am using a 4mm spacer on the water pump with the fan giving me 10mm clearance on breather. I thought about just running the electric fan but I was worried about it not cooling the engine enough as it isn't a front mounted radiator like the Sportspack run, so I was leaving on the plastic fan for that little extra help for the radiator.

hey fitment wise that looks about the same as the turbo clubby that we had in our place, jsut got to make yourself an extended bit of shrouding so the hot air actually gets sent out the wing and not sucked back in!!

In one of the photos you can just see the rubber surrond that goes around the fan housing ,the fan is only tempery In at the mo. I am just getting the idea how it all goes together.
