I'm very close to getting a ticket on my modded 1100 special. After I have the ticket it's going to be prep'd for hillclimbing and sprinting. I am planning on fitting a rear beam axle for adjustability (tried fitting camber brackets and they were awful quality). Questions are:

How much of the boot floor can I cut away for weight saving?

What strengthening is required?

Where does the fuel tank and battery then go?

Cheers all,

Nik

Nice Build.

Is that a custom built fuel tank?

certainly is :D 30mm X 60mm X 15mm!! just needs a filler neck welding onto it!! i think it works out at about 5 maybe 6 gallons!! nice and low slung too and it has baffles!! and incase you were wondering £60 custom made by a bloke that could weld aluminium!
