Uh-oh, and it's getting worse.
How can I fix it? Lots of gule?
I'm thinking maybe some good ald chemical metal, but i'd have to scrape away all that filler and paint that was put there by the previous owner.
Hmmmmmn.

Clean it up and get it welded. Or buy a new door

Is it supposed to be welded there then?
I can weld no probs, might have to do it soon what with the winter!

I'm only familiar with sliding window doors but the skins should attach the same. Those skins are/were brazed or welded at the top where they meet the door frame (bottom of the window channel). Scrape off the paint, if you find only steel there, re-welded it and grind it down as suggested. If you find brass, have it re-brazed. Don't try to clean off the brass and weld over the joint as it will only end in a mess.
