[mini mad adam]

hi guys,

i bought a pair of cobra monaco's and they came with for escort subframes to bolt to the floor. I am gonna buy the ones that fit the mini from minispares but i need to know one thing.

On my mini, the rails that the seat hooks on to, once it has been put back down, have been removed. Will this be a problem when fitting these?

Depending on the age of your car.

Cars after a certain date have to have locking seats to pass an MOT. As you say yours have been removed im guessing yours requires them.

Yes, they WILL need to be secured at the back for the MOT.

Ok, for the pedantic amongst us.

If you only have one seat fitted that will need to be secured at the back for the MOT !

But if you read the original post more carefully, you will see that he had a pair of seats !

the locking rails are only bolt on items!! 10mm spanner i believe! jsut find a mini in the scrappers and bolt another 1 in its place or jsut bolt the back of the seat direcltly down
