What is the panel below the front fascia, behind the number plate called? I think it's the valance am I right?
Anyway, real question is- Can you get replacement panels for the corners of this? The vast majority of mine is absolutley fine but the drivers side bit has been patched with fibreglass and has been badly done.
Could you link me too it if you can get a replacement panel?
Thanks

Damn. Well thats out of the question because it's an Elf and you can't get new front panels for love nor money.
I might try making a new bit that I need and weld it in....Or just cutting out the metal and making a new fibreglass one.
Thanks for the info

Yeah but for £210 I think I'll do without and try and make the bit. It's only the bottom left hand corner, about 3 inches long by 2inches high. May even go to a scrap yard and cut it off another shell.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT FIBREGLASS IT!!

i suppose the almost alternative to making one from a flat sheet is to get a rear valance and chop it up. While the curve is not exactly the same, if your panel beating skills are... shall we say a little lacking... its a reasonably close shape that would require less smacking about. Repro ones aren't that expensive. (and for a change, you wouldn't actually want it to be a perfect fit! )

Yeah, I think I'm going to go to a place in Middlesbrough which breaks minis and try and get the bit. It's obviously got rusty in the past, had a bodge job involving C**p rivets and then fibreglass on the back
It need cutting out and doing properly

Yeah i could do that. I'll leave it for a time when I have more money/time. For now I'm going to go to the breakers yard and cut off the appropriate section from a shell. I will then proceed to come home, remove the offending rusted section, and weld in a better condition one. After this is finished I will continue applying stoneguard etc to the whole part
Sorted
