carb trouble

right, i took my carb off to stop a leak (its the waxstat carb) and the leak seemed to come from the delivery pipe at the bottom of the resevior to the jet housing so i tighten up the nut on the resivior cleaned up the carb stuck it back on put the pipes on turned the key and it started revved up fine the she cuts out and theres petrol comin from the second pipe from the resivior and on the floor, i was goin to take it all apart 2moz to see if i can fix the prob but if n e 1 has ne ideas i would be gkad to hear them

Sounds like the float bowl needle/cap wants adjusting

Someone will be able to explain this to you.

possibly blocked pipe to the jet. When you put it back on, did you blow through it and clean the inside of the float chamber? Also did the little washer go back on correctly.

Just afew ideas.
