my project is going ok, changed my mind about z cars own dash, it turned out to be a little more money than i was originally told (£250 + vat) turned out to be £300 + vat, thought it was a little over priced for the design, anyway i telephoned curley and brought a curley evo tino dash for a little more!

I see you are really busy with work again...me too, just working on the car at weekends at the mo.
from curleys website(not my car)

I have decided to flock my dash once i have all the holes cut.
Yes work loads of mot stuff, 12 imports and general service and repairs.
I set myself a target for the r1 to be finished by the end of jan but its not going to happen. But i suppose the money will come in handy.
Picture beat me to it looks spot on that

You must have a big garage to get all them in. So it will be finished by tea time then

I'm thinking either something like this - if it will wear well - or perhaps some "spray on bed liner" as is currently the hip thing to coat under carriages / truck frames and pick up truck beds with here in the states.
Cheers,
Monte
I think its going to be black, the other colours are nice but maybe a bit to loud.

.
I have decided to flock my dash once i have all the holes cut.
You will need 1 flock kit (in your choice of colour) plus buy an extra bag of flock as it will save you trying to scoop up the excess all the time and losing where you were up to covering, use plenty of adhesive but dont gloup it on and have any high spots, try it on the cowling first just for practise as once you start you cant stop and you only get one shot with a dash. ps use some plastic sheet on the floor made into a funnel shape so all the flock drops to the bottom where you are doing the dash.
Its not rocket science, just make sure you are well prepared.
Look forward to seein the results.
Cheers

even more piccys!
Firstly, your mini is looking superb, when it's finished and next to your Dads, it will be some mean sound when both running.
Where did the clocks in your Dads mini come from?
On the wheel choice, have you seen the same wheel that you have shown but looks as if it is a split rim? It's pretty cool!!!

Good luck on completing it.
