Who has done it?

Where did you buy the kit from?

Was it difficult to do or easy?

Pics and list of bits would be nice!

These are good if you are only covering a small area.

Hope this helps

ive just done mine with that kit.

i needed a bit of practice to get it right, as i had sort of brush marks showing throgh. im trying to find another way to apply the glue.

the actual flock is easy to apply, you just fill a bottle (thats supllied with the kit) with the flock and then just sqeeze the bottle so it puffs on.

it looks and feels well cool!

doing a race dash, which is big, and if that works and the customer is happy will offer it as an option.

and if i like it, maybe bits of the mozzie too!

so where can i buy the flocking itself? since i dont think the amount in the frost kit will do it all

Sorry to be stupid but what exactly is flocking??? From what i can gather from that pic, is it something like you put glue on a surface then cover it with fabric fibers.

does the kit come with an idiot guide?

will i have to scuff the GRP first for the glue?

will spray on glue be just as good? (less brush marks)

i would key the dash lightly if it's going on gel coat... but only lightly.. automotive spray glue should be fine,.... but you know how quick it sets..... and it's mighty sticky... might even get away with just degreasing.

I'd wager that a whack over with a scotchpad and a then a thorough degreasing with cellulose thinners would suffice... do a test patch dude!
