Hi all

Im waiting for my new engine to arrive and was wondering what would be worth replacing while its out? Please could someone let me know what would be worth changing and if poss giving part Nos for or links to them on minispares as i wont know what to look for!!

Its a saloon and am taking a 1293 out and putting a 1380 in.

Change the bushes in the engine steadies? If so, what make?

Thanks again

what do you want?

Better handling?
Longer lasting bushes?

BUT more road noise.

or direct replacements, rubber type as std?

Subframe Mounts
http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=32785
Solid type
-Better handling
-No chance of splitting
-Increase road noise (so some people say)

Engine mounts
These will be fine, plus a doddle to fit

Steady bushes
Poly type

Or extra hard for race - http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=36634

No worries. you get the drift.

Id fit solid subframe mounts from personal experience, the handling is alot sharper and you can tell the difference. mine wasnt any noiser then normal.

The rest is down to personal choice, you can also fit bottom engine steadies, ultimate ones etc etc if you want too.
