I have a 1340 (not A +) engine that I acquired, it is not fully built yet.
It has no clutch fitted so I was thinking of putting a lightened flywheel and competition clutch on it.
So my question is what type of clutch do I go for, a Non Verto or Verto clutch?
VERTO CLUTCH or NON VERTO that is the Question?

it is generally thought that the pre-verto is the better.

pre-verto can be made lighter so its the prefered use for racing and high performance but for general driving it can often suffer with a lot more judder than a verto. does that help?

only found a judder on my non-verto at take off. but thats when I'm trying to take off nice and slow to stop my dad complaining about my driving.

yeah judder at take off, thats what i meant. fine thru the gears, just pulling away a non vertyo will juder. a verto will too but its usually very slight by comparison. i never found judder on a racing start with non verto i hve to admit!

Somthing to do with the spings on the clutch plate isn't it. I've only seen verto ones to have them.
