what some people have done is banded the wheels this is illegal and shouldnt be done if its a road car, if you want to know what it is look through google

i know i wasnt intending on fitting the wrong wheels. looking at 1.3 rover metro wheels or something along those lines but wanted suomething a little more different.

Metro steelies would fit but they have a viscous offset so would need spacers, the other option is to find wheels of older BL (circa '70s) vehicles..
eg Austin 1100's, allegros, princesses and those with rwd which have a +ve offset like MG's, marina's etc etc
but I think the best ever looking steelwheel are the rostyle, which do crop up every so often in 12" form for minis.
