hey peeps and peepettes!

just picked up my mini city today from bolton and drove it home, So Much FUN!! how ever there are a few things i need advice on. first i think the speedo is 10mile an hour to slow im keeping up with people on the roads and it only says 50, anyone come across this? also the heater makes an awful grinding type noise i assume its the fan, but at high speed it sorta whistles. also over biggish pot holes or bumps it clunks on the back end. any help would be fab.

The Back End Issue Could Be Worn Bushes Or Worn Shockers.

The nosiy heater could be knackered motor bearings.

If your speedo's out (perhaps someone fitted a different earlier type speedo?) then these people can sort you out:-

nope the front wheels are still 12's but the rears are 10's will that effect it? im hoping to put a 3 clock dash in so im hoping that solves my problem. acually also when i brake quite hard it makes an on off sqeeking noise but it doesnt sound from the brakes, it sounds inside the car itself, by the pedels. im putting 13's on my mini what will that do to the handling?

forgive my ignorance but why do you have 12's on the front and 10's on the back?

also im abit concerted because i had a look at the carb and there is a choke cable but its been pulled through and tied up, what does this mean? the car idles fine and rarely stutters. ill get a pick as soon as i can.

The light on the right as you look at it (the yellowy/orangy one) is the oil pressure warning light - comes on when oil pressure is low. If its this one showing check it out sooner rather than later. Not a good idea to use an engine with low oil pressure.
The light on the left (red) is the ignition/charging circuit.
