On the drive (and garage) we have

a 998 stage 1 City
a Clubbie Estate currently being restored

and the old workhorse - the Astra 1.6 16V - I keep on at the other half to drop the engine into the clubbie, but he dont fancy that with the drum brakes

If it's being restored anyway, TC, have him change the brakes and THEN drop the 1.6 in!

It's enough problem just getting him in the garage to just get the thing on the road - let alone any mods!!! :tongue:

My other half doesnt like to get his hands dirty - thats why Scurvy Dog is my man when my car needs tinkering with!! :grin:

He does want to upgrade the brakes anyway - but will have to save up for that bit. The clubbie is going to the restoration show in March when the boys will be working on it helping him along!! Trying to get it roadworthy for the summer shows (the estate is handy for the camping gear) - and then full respray over the winter.....well - thats the plan!!
