So i finally got the car up from brimingham (thanks to Steve Rowe
letting me use his A-Frame)couldn't get her running down in brum but got her going after getting back to edinburgh; needed a new starter and points adjusted; also needed to draing the carb out as wehn i was down i took it to a mechanic and he was meant to have done the points and said there was no oil in the carb but there clearly was and had put engine oil in the carb
... So after getting her running I stripped in interior out for the rollcage to have the bas plates welded in place and also going to replace the interior anyway. I Also put my angel eyes from down under on to the car as well as my clear rear clusters.
BUT... always a but eh! lol... here's the problems...
Sidelights work but when the dipped beam is on the dash lights go out and so does the tailights...
Turn the fourways/warning lights on at the switch and nothing but indicators work individually so maybe the switch... possibly the relay??
Wipers work but are slow and very temperamental...
Also for the project ideas;-
*BMW K head conversion from specialist components up top of my mg metro 1275 block... any more info on this conversion would be great

*Rear Beam Conversion with Protech coilovers
*maybe Full Length Sunroof
