my car is nothing to look at until you lift the bonnet but this is definately the most fun you can have with your clothes on! or off if you`re that way inclined. f**k me it`s fast!!! THIS CAR IS NOW FOR SALE, interested? go to the for sale section. you will not be disapointed if you buy this car!!!

i'm guessing vauxhall 16v with bike carbs ?

yes r1 carbs, give you loads of bottom end and midrange, i did 150 miles an hour in it with webers on, and it would have gone faster but even with all the uprated suspension it got a bit scarey, miff

This is the Calibra engine you told us about, right? No wonder it goes. How are things with your son since he wrote off your other pride and joy?

yes this is that car, and my son is fine, thanks for your concern, we are just on the verge of the rebuild, with any luck the shell will be repanelled repainted and rebuilt within two months, regards miff.

Ah, think i remember the 'son wrote of the mini' thread.....glad thats all sorted and no-one has been disowned!

I think you were a little VERY harsh saying this car is nothing to look at without opening the bonnet as well, its a stunner!

im with him, red clubman, black wheels, what more could a guy want. oh yes 2 litres of vauxhall power. seriously she looks amazing, most people write off minis just because they are a mini, to us in the know, she's stunning

yes they are not doing as well as i thought they would, these cost 500 quid second hand a couple of years ago, or am i just being greedy, the r1 carbs set up cost £350,

yes but it had 55s on at the time, and when i was cornering at speed the sidewalls gave out so i put bridgestones on for the obvious reasons, MIFF

yeah just sign up as a diff member and add some money on top!!

but dont go 2 high or u will buy them back urself ;)

i just got some Dellorto 45s with linkage inlet and fuel reg with an adjustable dizzy for £450

but yours look in better condition than mine

Dellorto 45s for £450 ;) I think i need to give mine a clean and sell them!!!
