Manifold removal

Hi does anyone have any trick tips on how to seperate my downpipe from the manifold on a spi i can only get 1 of the 3 studs undone and its driven me crazy!

err, its a complete arse, thast all i can say!! try soaking the said nut in wd40 and leaving it overnite, failing that, break it with a big bar!!, angle grinder is a bad idea because of the sparks and the fuel!!

i used an anggle grinder on mine that split the pipes, although rendered it useless..


good job i had a replacement stg2 maniflow!

wd40 isnt proper penetrant, get some plusgas.

I gave up when trying to remove mine. Just cut it off. Gave me an excuse to fit a LCB. And the spi downpipe does drop down very low, kept smacking it on speedbumps.
