Is it worth doing myself? I have no Haynes but i wouldn't mind getting my hands dirty. Should i fit it myself or get the garage to do it? Also, anyone fancy giving me a guide on what to do?

It is really simple I would give it a go yourself. All you have to do is undo the 6 bolts at the back of the head, disconnect the exhaust and wiggle it out. If you have problems with the carb interfering with the bulkhead you can undo the engine steady to give a little extra clearance.
