Minispares is by birmingham, just west of it i think :S

But there is other places where we could go... we would need to find a place central to all of us, to make it easyer to get to.

my car probally has less BHP then our petrol lawnmower, but if i could make it, it would be a good fun day and worthwhile.

Cornwall might be a tad too far south.

Were looking at putting a rolling road session together. Booking one for a day... Current rates seem to be about 60 quid an hour, and that's not much time to tune a car... I suspect the 30 quid is to sitck it on the road, get the figures, maybe tweak the timing or mixture and that's about it...

I don't know where Minispares to theirs suspect its down in London somewhere...

Would be cool to start a thread of know RR's and possibly a rating score on Value for Money, or knowledge of technician etc...

Minispares Birmingham isn't their main place, just a dealership. I didn't think Minispares had a rolling road at all, you sure you aren't reading the Minisport catalogue? They do shootout days for £30 a car, but they're all the way up in Manchester and you need more than 10 cars. On a shootout day all they do is strap you to the rollers and do one test and one power run. If your car isn't healthy enough for the power run you don't do one, they can't risk it and they won't fix anything serious for you on the day. Thay just give you advice.

It's okay for a bit of competition against each other, but don't think you're going to get a cheap tune out of it.

You-kno, i always get mixed up between minisport, minispares, and minispeed, and yes it is minisport lol!!

i didn't necessarily mean doin it at minisport, it was just that gave me the idea of mentioning it!!

I think you are right about it is only a bit of competition, they don't actually tune your car for ya.

minisport would be best for me, london & cornwall just a tad too far. We could always have two rolling road days one up north and one down south!
