How easy is it to change from a 998cc engine to a 1275cc engine .... is it (in leymans terms) A straight in and out??

thats going to be on the list aswell. looking at making it safe obviously. lol. what brakes upgrades do you recomend??

8.4 or 7.5 disc brakes in standard form are good enough for a 1275

realised this is in the wrong thread .....
erm just take the brakes off a 1275....?? its going to be tuned over the next year to as high a standard as i can afford (and time allows) so should i do a "bigger" upgrade now in advance??

why do you need bigger brakes? surely you only you need them if you intend on goin faster? or your making the car heavier? otherwise if your current brakes are stopping you well enough at the moment then you won't need to.
