Thanks Anorak, this is brilliant!

Vern's from up narth at Huddersfield but I already knew that because the dealer's name is still on his numberplate
Wish I knew loads more about him though, he dunt say much!

Mine's from Huddersfield too (originally a demo car used by Rover Dealers "lookers of Bradford" from 1990-1993), then I bought it form Lex Rover, Cardiff in early 1994. So it's now residing with me in the South Wales area.

Milly (AK) is from Sheffield and Daisy (CW) is from Burnley both cars are now in Barton, North Lincs. Not sure where Milly will end up if she ever sells

My little man started life somewhere near coventry then it was moved over to france with its previous owner where it spent 6 years being built

Alice, the new cooper is Coventry (VC), very close to rugby then.

actually we have a record of all her owners and shes been in rugby since about 1996.

This is the strange bit that has always made me think...

I'm the 3rd keeper of my car, when i bought it in November 2000, i remember looking at the log-book in the previous (2nd) keepers name.

Under the section ' Previous keeper' it had Rover Cars Longbridge

Does this mean my car was a dealer demo model, or used to drive round the factory for a few months or simply a pre-registered car?

Wheni bought it, it was completley standard and the previous owner had it since 1991.

Where would i be able to find out about the car's history?
