hi there just spent all day taking the front sub frame out off my mini on my own never worked on a mini before as ive always had fords

just wonderd the easest way of putting it bk in once i have put the engine on 2 it thanks 4 any help :(

lol not litraly lifting, what me and my friend did is get 2 trolly jacks wood to spread with load onto the jack and put the jacks about where the x-member is and lift the car up like that

if possible and the cars inside what about whinch system to lift the front of the car up?

this is also a bonus of a removable front end

I've done it like that before, on my own. But it was bloomin hard work!

With the engine sat in the frame, on the floor, you can easily lift ithe shell over with two people, but it's gonna be difficult with one, especially when trying to get things to line up. You'd be better off using a hoist to do it if you're on your own.

all done now me and mini kel done it on monday just got 2 fit it all back up now and then off 2 the painters B)
