Would this fit: http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=33595 ? or would I need a special one?
Any makes to recommend or avoid?
I guess it'll be 55Amp, I don't have a stereo but will be putting one in this year and I want to be future proofed.
TIA

You could just take your old one to a Motor Factors and get an exchange unit or take it to an Auto Electricians and get it overhauled with new brushes and stuff.
Far cheaper in the long run.

Are you fitting an uprated one, or need a replacement because yours is packing in?

I can overhaul them... and well the sprite would have had either a 45 or a 55 amp unit depending on what rover had to hand on the production line that day.
usually the connections and earths cause 90% of the problems...
