a tip if your doing something similar is the nuts on the manifold are 13mm meaning you can't get a ring spanner on them as they are tight to the manifold
but you can buy a 13mm nut that is 11mm (if that makes sence) meaning you can get a ring spanner or socket on there

my mates splitty , bought it for £9k excellent underneath v/good body
just lowering, had to higher steering box for him, he's fitted disc brake conversion
narrowed front axle, GT beetle box single u/j shafts, new white empi's and Yoki's
nealy ready for the road again (it was on the road when he bought it)






the brown marks on the paint work is mud from when the cover got
wet when it rained...
