no its on torsion bars

you have to jack the bus up, then jack the suspension down, let the air out of the tyres before you can remove the wheels

Its also got square wheels on the back :xxx:

I did look out for you bumgle, but didnt see you about at all.

I have often thought about why they dont hold MITP at the 3 couties showground, as Vanfest, BVF (British Volkswagen Festival), The TR Register and other clubs hold their international events there.
Maybe we should write them a letter??

just before i left for vanfest i added a extra leisure battery and replaced the split charge relay

i was finding we were running out of battery power for the fridge over a long week end so i have added a second 85 amp hour battery, we now have 3 times more amp hours than horse power :xxx:

another problem i was having was with the leisure battery being flat when the relay kicked in it would blow the 40 amp fuse

so a quick look on ebay found be a bongo relay rated at 180 amps so a bit of rewiring + the second battery and i was sorted

I was in Malvern on the Friday and drove past the showground! :P Felt a bit of an outsider in my mini though!! :)

What did you think of the showground? :ermm: I think MITP here would be an awesome idea!! :P

I looked out for you bungle - but didnt see you or dolly :P

i was going to pop along on the saturday to the show, but it was £10 per person to get it! :o (little did i know that Stanford Hall the next day would also be £10 :dozing: <_<)

Waddya prefer then, Bungle? :P The VW shows and atmosphere... or Mini shows? :dontgetit:

i think the 4 county's show ground is great and mini in the park should be there

the best bit with VW shows is almost everyone camps making it a 3 day event

with mini's you have to camp in a tent meaning not so many people stay over

just look at the Aeriel picture of the size of a VW show

Posted Image[/quote]

but i think the traders area is smaller at a VW show

for me at the moment I'm just finding its some thing different, we find we need the space of a camper for Williams stuff and the big mini shows seem to be moving further and further away from Cornwall

I drove past them all on the Sunday - letting them out of the junction. Met up with a small club in a garage. Had a butchers round a Splitty, and love them! But the appeal of a 2.0 Air Cooled... is better, even if it is a Bay Window :-
