All of a sudden my wind screen wipers have decided to not work BUT. this is the puzzling thing they work on fast wipe but normal and single wipe are failing to work.

Anyone else experienced this what the matter with them???????????????

i think fikus has hit the nail on the head best idea is to buy a multimeter from a electronics shop and see if there is current at the starter motor or if you a bit on tight side solder some wire to a bulb and see if it lights up when connecting it to wiper motor when lever is in slow pistion.

It could also be due to the wires being corroded or broken off the back of the wiper motor park-switch:-

Mine did exactly this. Turned out to be the connection at the bottom of the steering column. For some silly reason all the connectors are brass except one which is steel. The steel one with the culprit.

I had exactly the same problem with the ignition one too.
