Hi Everyone

I have 28mm valves in a cylinder head but I want to put standard size 29mm valves in. Is it just a case of re-cutting the seats or will it mean the seats need milling first?

Thanks

David

You only need to re-cut the seat, but you need valve seat cutters to do it.... so unless you have them, it's a engineering shop job...

Ello,

I'm reading your thing and it says you've got a 998 eninge (I got no idea about valve size to engine size). If your using a stock 998 head then you'd be better off de-shrouding the valves than putting in bigger ones.
