Just stay away from gardens in this one! :P

Its not actually illegal to have door numbers on a car, unless that car is to be used in motorsport. I believe the MSA handbook says that their cars must have a cross through the door number when not in competition, because it is, of course, illegal to race on open public roads! But its not illegal to have numbers and letters on the side of your car, or anywhere on your car, otherwise companies wouldn't be able to print signs on the side of their vans!

But then scruitineer just told me that even with the strike through the number you can still get stopped.

Congrats Raz, that's a stunning looking car! :P It's the same colour as my carb'ed Cooper too.

Welcome to the joys of driving a Cooper, you will have SOOOO much fun with that! :)

So, how about driving up north and take me out on a test drive? :P

Nice Mini Raz :P

That would be Mike at Classic Minis you bought it off then? Really nice guy and knows his stuff too. He used to work at John Cooper garages so that might explain why!

He's not the same chap as the Minimag buying guide man though, his name is Ray Cox. Perhaps Mike has negotiated a deal to buy a few from him? Unless there's two 78-mile Era Turbo's in the country - now that really would be something!

I might be wrong, but I think she's pleased! :P
Have fun with Monty - good name, if he ever misbehaves you get to call him a terrible............ car.
(If you don't get it then you really MUST watch "Withnail and I").
