I presume people don't use these as they are not available for mini's. However seems like a good idea to me, to protect the paint on the way to shows etc. I reckon it would be pretty easy for someone with sewing etc. skills (ie my mum) to make one. It would consist of a section on the bonnet, and a section for each side around the headlight/indicator and along to the grille.
Just thinking out loud really...not sure what my mum will think of the idea, she's already retrimmed my 2 previous mini's interiors, might be pushing my luck!

Personnaly always hated them, you cant see the car so whats the point. no point in protecting paintwork if you dont show it off(IMO)
You can take them off tho
I'm just thinking for things like long motorway journeys...mini fronts get ruined by stonechips. I particularly hate what seems like standard driving technique to many people...overtake you then cut across in front approx 1 foot in front of your car

They Keep Your Engine Warm In The Winter, They Used These Muffs On The 60's Rally MinisNice muff Gav...I saw one of those recently somewhere...can't remember where it was. Dunno what the purpose of those are but certainly not for protecting your paint!
I hope Mrs Bungle doesn't read this!...
