Heya.. Im probably alot younger than the average user of this forum at only 17! ... And im most probably too tall to fit into a mini.. 6ft 3.. ive never owned one.. But there's one laying dying near my house ..
1 question.. what is the tallest height for a person to fit into a mini?!

hey again.. I thought id add more info on the mini i might be able to get.. Its had brambles growing through it.. Its a Clubman Estate(i think) in brown.. Full of junk.. The tyres are shot beyond belief (do new ones cost alot?!) The guy said it ran when it was last used.. BUT ITS BEEN SITTING THERE A LONG TIME!!.. Its been vandalised quite a bit.. Speedo.. other meters on the dash have been smashed.. Theres some dodgy wiring around the steering wheel..(i think that some covering has been removed) the seats are ripped(just worn out..) but the back seats arent secured.. so the backrest seems to be floating about.. The front drivers side window is open! .. So the seats are growing mould me thinks.. Do Minis take a long time to do up.. A friend suggests we do it up and sell it.. But if i fall in love with it.. Why would i want to sell it!

Theres a few young people on here mate... Im 18. You will be surprised. One of my mates is 6 ft 4 and he has more room in my Mini than he does in his clio!!!!!

Hi TimTom, welcome to TMF!

I have seen people of your height and greater in Mini's, they are bigger than you would expect. You can do a few things to help as well such as moving the seats back on special adaptor's....

Tyres arent expensive £30/40...how long it will take is dependant on your skills, time, cash etc

I suggest getting some pics up and post them on here so people can assess the likely work involved more accurately.

hey.. Just got back from taking some pictures of the mini.. As i got there a cat jumped out the open window.. and tried to run away.. while slipping down the wet bonnet! was quite funny!.. illl upload the pcs in a minute.. They were taken on my phone SE K750i so the quality isnt amazing.. and i could only get to 2 sides.. the back and the drivers side because its up against a fence at the front and car to the left side..

From the side! Behind the back wheel is a patch of rust.. (a hole!)
