My rad is leaking at the front bottom corner. could it be leaking from the sensor ?
secondly , if i have to replace it could i use an earlier type rad and wire the aux fan to a switch , because funds are tight and later rads seem a lot dearer.

Why not pop the sensor out and put some PTFE tape on it?

OOOhhh. You don't quite know were it's leaking from. Now I get you. I'd pop it out. Block the pipes off then fill it up to see if I could spot the leak.

there's that or the rad weld stuff.
