There is a Company who make an armrest that you can put a headunit in or CD Storage. Someone put a picture on here ages ago I think.
It went in between the two front seats and the padded arm rest was hinged so you could conceal the headunit/cd's.
I REALLY want to find it because I want sounds again but can't put headunnit in curly carbon fibre dash.

have you tried Custom Consoles from Salisbury? I know they make quite a few different consoles and things just for minis
