hi all. just joined, i have bought a mini tahiti with a totally clapped engine and gear box so hoping to replace soon - v. exited. was wondering if there was a mini owners club in bath???

We've got a few members who come up from bristol on a regular basis so Bath is no problem! Our next meeting is tonight at 8.30 so feel free to pop along if you can

cant make it to the swindon meet today but would be nice in the future, ill let you know.

also i have been looking at guess-works but i have to admit i dont really know what im doing yet.
i would prefer a whole unit just to drop straight in.
maybe someone could ask around for me at the swindon meeting if there are any 1275 engines going????????

I'm in Bath, drive around in a very rusty Blue Sprite (when it's going). Sure we could get a meet organised if there's a few of us about!

Yep, thats true. I've always wanted to find out how many there are left and what number mine is... any ideas?

I like to think of mine as an original with a twist!

you dont live/work near that train bridge near the sports center do you????
because i think i may have seen your mini quite a few times.
on the subject of a meet after becoming a mini owner i have noticed more and more around bath so maybe it could be done quite easily.
would just have to get hold of them all some how.

You may have seen it there, but I don't use it much in the centre as Bath parking is a bit daft. It's not hard to spot, being rusty with nasty hubcaps and usually broken down! :'( My excuse is that I'm rebuilding a 1275 GT so that's gets all my attention!

I have seen a few other Minis in Bath -let's hope they're reading this thread!

i live just outside bath and quite often drive into bath on the weekends..... a meet around bath sounds good! if i ever get my car back on the road i will defo be up for that.... oh and i asked about 1275 engines and no luck, you tried tradeit or the local paper???

hiya, have you heard of west country mini's? Were based in the bristol/bath area and meet twice a month, next meet is tomorrow!

i hadnt heard of you - but i have looked at the website now.
i cant make it to coalpit heath tomorrow, other side of bristol from me (can't just nip in quickly)
maybe another time, ill keep a look out on your website.
any chance you could ask around about an engine and direct them my way if there is one???????
