Man that took ages to post up. Well thats my project, started it feburary 06 had it Mot'd and on the road at the end of july 06. I'm currently spraying new front end up for it, as the bonnet decided to fly up whilst driving and bend itself, i also wasnt happy with the fit of the front, so i'm redoing it using genuine panels. Seats are soon to be going to the trimmers and then i shal be somewhere near being happy with it.

The headlining was from classic mini interiors, there the people who supply huddersfield mini spares, was a mare to fit though.

Yeah i'll do a techy drawing of the shell spinner, theres a few more pics of the spinner on this topic at miniresource, CLICK

Thanks for the great comments.

Yet another success story, superb my man.
May I ask how and which fastners you used for the front/A panel? Did you use a bit of body panel as the bit of metal on the A panel.

Love the colour as well, I used to have an RS2000 MKII in Signal Orange.

Good work

I spot welded a plate to the back of the apanel, and then crimped 6mm riv-nuts into it, then two holes on each of the front wings, two button head bolts per side and bobs your uncle.

riv nuts are brilliant, especially if you cant get a nut in a tight gap!!
