Righteo, im currently at the 14th month mark of a mammoth bare shell rebuild.

Here is how she was before the rebuild after i had just refurbed her alloys

I was also stockpiling a lot of parts for the time i had the car on the road.

to give an idea of the detail to come i went as far as to add grease nipples to the hi-lo's

Anyhow,

Grinded away a bigger patch under the arch, with the flat disk, then went over with the brush to get anything out of the pits where it had surface rust.

Then slapped etch primer over the areas that where spotles...

Sooooo

TOP TIP : use a blowlamp to get seam sealer off!!! its much easier than risking a million degree napalm when using the grinder.

Then gave it the standard lick of etch primer for protection before seam sealering , and stone chipping.
