well slow progress

been ill some more...

but i did manage to redo the roof on the garage which was a big job that needed doing





and due to illness etc this is how the shell stands

slowly very very slowly inching towards .. somewhere it aint the finish but its somewhere :lol

in tecktane

think ive found a new colour combo that NEEDS doing

the pics dont do it justice... its etch primer against tecktane ( a very fine silver met)

decided i needed somewhere for my tools



but its ok as its a bit rottern

roughly cleaned ready for a thorough job when on its other side



again a rough clean so tomorrow i can get the whole engine bay painted fingers crossed









some seam sealering and some shot blasting

got showerd in turd LITERALLY at one point, and i can honestly say that shot blasting is the worst job in the world.

more seam sealer.

now there was only one satan ( rust ) untill i started doing this job. Imagine trying to paint chewing gum... then having to get it into a seam, and then trying to make it look " tidy"

so here is seam sealerd.













and then etched over

looks a mess but it really is the best i could do and took like 4 hours :wacko

was degraded to hand sanding inside the scuttle





Got a new toy yesterday





i was told not to press down with it, and to avoid corners and it will turn paint and rust to dust.

well the guy was right it WONT touch the metal no mater how hard you press down it just polishes it up and removes all paint etc..

i couldent belive it will certainly be having some more of them





anyhow

dave did some prep for the welding that needs doing

slow progress... its doing loads of little jobs here and there and its really a slow process as you have to wait for things to dry etc.

again... but with how good the poly bushes look against the subby





Repaired some of the chips made by a certain chimp... not too easy to spot me thinks



One completed bottum arm!



And this is where the mini will live when it comes home... still need to remove the shelf on the right hand side... but then there is plently of room had to build all the racking / shelves in the last couple of weeks just to make room!

Small update...

Radius arms now have bearings in them as to top arms... need to get another load of powder coating done though asap before i can fit top arms

and a teeny weeny update on the shell

remember the gouge out the front of it in the front valence seen here...



Which a good couple of people said it would be imposible to get out.... and that i will need a new front panel etc etc

well here it is.. and it aint even finished yet!





still needs migging up and then skimming... but im dead impresed by how neat it looks allready
