minisport cam kits

are the minisport cam kits any good? i am building on a budget and am looking at getting the fast road cam kit for 57 quid. any information or advisories?

In short, no. IMHO Mini Sport's own brand aren't very qood quality cams. They wear out really fast and they don't seem to be too fussy about the quality of core they use for re-grinding either.

just buy an sw5 less than a hundred quid so save a few extra pennies.

is this a complete kit or do i have to buy springs and followers seperate?

check out the website i have heard you dont need to change the spring just fit a new oil pump also they are allot less than 100 for a regrind

who makes them tho? i am not too up on engine stuff. i learn as i go!

Swift Tune.

You only need new springs if the ones you currently have are either worn out or no good for the spec of the engine you are putting together. You should fit new followers though but these aren't expensive. Get some of the better ones from Mini Spares that hold the bottom of the push rod more securely.
