Peeps, I no longer have the need for the distributor drive dog (leccy ignition and a blanked off dizzy hole). It is an A+ block, but I am looking at the oil route side of things, will removing the dog and leaving it out have any effect on oil flow or pressure? I am fairly certain that it will be OK, but wanted to double check with the tech gurus on here (you know who you are).

I was planning on taking mine out when I fit the Megajolt as I have seen them jump out of position and jam the engine unless the dizzy blanking plug gos far enough down to hold the drive in place

That was one concern, how to retain the dog if I leave it in Can't see any problems with the oil, just didn't know how the nose of the dog not being in it's housing would effect the oil route etc
Need to have a proper look at how the oil route works on an A series, never really paid that much attention to it to be honest!
