Hi

my mini is Coughing and Spluttering and i do not know why the timing is bang on. but i have an turbo CAM in an stardard 1275Gt engine also the spark plugs are getting very wet with fuel. Also when stop Coughing and Spluttering after reving the engine its like its back firing through the carb but its not

anyone know why this is happening :'(

Could be that you are overfueling the engine seeming the spark plugs are wet.

Check the air/fuel ratio would be where I would start.

Will a turbo cam even work on a NA engine ? I suspect the fact that your using that is causing a few issues.

Sounds like it needs a good tune up as a minimum.

How come you have opted for a turbo cam in a N/A engine by the way?

the turbo cam in there because i used to have a turbo on the engine but it started to smoke
