Have a look at the Alarm ECU on the bulkhead behind the dash. If its a genuine factory fit alarm/Imobiliser it will have a white sticker on it. there will be a leter in a circle on the white sticker. If there is nothing on the black box, then any alarm on the car is not factory fit.
This is one area that I am a little grey on, and can only go on educated guess. I was originaly looking for a matched ECU set but again theres not many about because of peoples ignorance that they are matched, when they sell them, and when they do the price is silly. The thing with my car is that there is no alarm, just the black box. I would have to ad all the other switches to get it to work right. Bounces car is of 95/96 origin. Your car is 95. There is no reason that by fitting the Alarm ECU, Engine ECU and using the matched key fobs that wont work as long as the wiring is the same, no reason why it shouldnt be. Plug them in and away you go.
Does your car have the multi blade, main fuse box in the engine compartment?
