Before I go ahead and upgrade my engine I just wanted to know how much petrol other minis get through so I won't be shocked if my mini gets a little thirsty.
I've got a standard 1.3 Sprite 'granny engine' at the mo.
I haven't worked out how many miles per gallon I get through but what I do know is that it costs around £15 to get me from Bromley to Milton Keynes.

Miniman Pie: 998cc standard (i think) - went to the nurburgring and back on one tank of fuel.
DJH MM (Me): 998cc half race spec - 20mpg (if i'm lucky)
It really is an individual case scenario.

How on earth did he manage that? Is it a standard fuel tank?
