That sounds a bit dangerous... Driving L2B when you've only just passed your test... :(

I'll be ready.. so long as nothing breaks. I have got to put my new 12g295 head on it though before then, and thats it. I'm more worried about getting the van done for BH2N.

Ive got to sort out a few oil leaks and some other stuff but should be able to make it, she's going off the road soon after L2B to be rebuilt I think depending on finances.

I feel like **** :X not sure i'll be working on the car tommorow..... Shocks are connected on the back and handbrake is lined back up.... braided brake hoses arrived today so i can fit that and get the exhaust back on.... then its time for the new fuel pump in the boot and the twin tanks.

then i gotta turn the car round and start on the front end.... lower arms, tie rods, new bushes, solid subframe mounts, steering rack, coil overs... manifold gasket, fuel regulator, Nitrous kit, Then theres wireing the dashboard and getting the roof chopped :'( :X :(

Andminwah's too busy to help me.

I'd say i'm in the 'it's gonna be tight' category! The cars taxed and mot'd but with an engine in pieces and a new cam on order i can't shake this horrible feeling that somethings gonna go wrong and put me out of the run! Anyone else in the same boat?

couldnt you put a spare engine in for temp measures? a cheap 998 from scrappie or from someone on here? always good to have a spare engine sitting around just in case you have engine trouble a couple of days before a show!

not much point really, was planning on putting the engine i'm working on now in by L2B with the luxury of having the 998 still running if i didn't make it! just means the finger has been pulled out now! lol i'm currently driving around in an astra diesel and remembering how stressful and boring sensible cars are to drive!
