Hey all,
Real quicky here I hope. What's the most likely candidate for occassional whistling at low speeds in damp conditions? Monty's feeling musical apparently *Sheepish grin* It sounds like a slippy fanbelt but subsides once he picks up speed.
Any ideas?
Thx

Also, is it a wolf whistle?
Could be fanbelt tension, as Becks said, do you know where it's coming from?

It could be the pesky air filter vent thingy thats bolted to the side? That opens and closes as per the weather conditions, plus it's worth making sure it's secured tightly too.

¬_¬ Wolf whistle? *Looks at Monty who sits there looking quite innocent* I don't think so
It's more of a whirry-whistle, he's completely standard running though thus it's not a wheels thing, no mods there. It's definitely an 'under the bonnet' type whistle and seems related to choke use too as it worsens with choke a little out (noticed that on route home...) Seems to be passenger side when it's damp and he's cold/running slow.
