fitting a servo will make your effort on the pedal a little less, what pads are u using? theses can make a big difference to the effectivness of the brakes so can flushing the brake lines and filling up with silicone fluid! jsut takes any spongyness out of the system because the silicons fluid doesnt absorb air like normal fluid. depends what you are using it for! track work? general road use?

This is just my daily driver for now.

I just picked up the lockheed pads and the braided hoses.
Just to freshen things up till I got all the advice on what to upgrade.
I also got a new set of rear cylinders just to make sure the whole system is fresh.

i dont think you'll need much more than a servo, they arent likely to be overworked physically on road use, just ur leg will be, lol. i think a remote servo can go pretty much anywhere, even seen them under the dash and under the back seat!

Nothing wrong with the 7.5" set up. cheapest way to improve them is use slotted/ cross drilled discs and decent road pads, I found the Ferodo pads to be a good choice. Ive given my 8.4" set up with those Ferodo pads a real good hammering and never had an issue. The 7.5" caliper is almost the same as the 8.4" so the only real difference is the radious of giration.

Turbo Dave in the US runs a pretty well sorted Turbo Mini on 7.5" solid discs. He had a frightening time with the Green stuff pads and reverted to the mintex road pads.

Nothing wrong with 7.5" discs as long as you use the right pads and the rest of the sytem is working. Rear cylinders are notoriously bad for failing.

If you fit a split system MC then do not fit a remote servo.
