Yeah, I fitted the replacement K&N element, just replaces the original filter in the original housing. No messing around with hoses or sensors or anything, and no worries about it popping off! Performance increase was reassuring, though not as huge as I was hoping for, though I think that's more a reflection on the overall setup of the engine than the quality of the filter! Really need to get it rolling roaded...
