CHOOSE A SENSIBLE SIZE ENGINE RATHER THAN A 300-400 KILO LUMP!

BUT IF YOU STICK A V10 LUMP IN YOU'LL NEED £,££££'S OF POUNDS TO DO IT.
AND ANYWAY, WHERE WOULD YOU GET IT FROM.

now lads, that was very funny, but... we should help.

Personally mate, first you should see what a squeeze getting the a V8 into a mini is before you look at a V10, however,... you will have virtually no option but to mount it in the rear, so... with this in mind... take some measurements of your mini... and compare them to the size of the engine you wish to fit.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say 'what's the best v10', best for what?

It would HAVE to be a light one without a doubt,... you need the 'smallest' V10 you can find.. once that's done... you need to sort out brakes,. suspension,.. wheels that can handle the power, driveshafts, fuel tank. V10 on carbs or injection?!? Gearchange.. wiring loom, a way of getting the engine in and out of the car, how are you gonna get acces to oil filters etc when space is so limited?

also... what use?.. road legal?.. racer?... drag strip car or trailer queen?

Theres so much to consider,... have you seen the amount of work needed to fit a readily available modern small engine into a mini?... with this in mind... I wouldn't take fititng a V10 light heartedly.. it's not gonna be easy at all.
