Funny you should bring this up, I was going to contact Chris (gotta speak to him soon anyway) and as if they wanted to do some testing on the 'Ring!!

It's a good idea. I'm just wondering about luggage space though. Haven't got any.

To be honest I am also wondering how the regular Mini crowd would take to a Z Cars monster in their midst. Hostile or welcoming? I don't know.

Oh, not at all, I think everyone would very much like to see some Z Cars on the trip! I mean there are going to be a number of 16V conversions, as well as some BMW minis, so to add some Z Cars to the mix would be quite a variety. Will be very interesting to see how they all perform around the Ring too!

The trip starts on the 29th August for 7 days, returning on the 5th September. You do have a number of months to get your applications back, but we have write ups in magazines and flyers going out with every MiniSpares order at the moment, so I expect places might fill up fast in the coming weeks. I'd advise not to leave sending in applications til the last minute, just in case you don't get a place.

Any additional information can be found here.

And remember, its not just about getting there and going around the Ring, theres so much else to do, and meeting new people there is just a touch of the experience!

If you get a few Zs want to go it might be an idea to club together and bring a suport vehicle like a transit van to carry all the equipment and camping gear , would also make a good towing vehicle should the worse happen
(i think this would be a good idea for all the minis on the trip not just the Zs)
Zs do tend to have a totaly differant set of problems to the more standard minis
