I have read on here that you can use vinyl paint, from halfords, for roof linings. So i guess it will work the same way for the dash rails.

That's nice jim!

I sprayed my top dash rail with Plasticote gloss black. Worked fine, never peeled, never came off or anything.... A vinyl paint would be best though.

Frost UK sell it. and it's pricey...

Ok, First i used a heat gun to heat up the black plastic vinyl stuff that on there, this melted the glue and made the plastic flexable, it just peels off then leaving the foam underneath...

then i used upholstery/carpet fitters spray glue (available in cans, from local carpet shops)

laid on the vinyl and used the existing clips to make sure it doesnt move when it gets hot in the summer...

hey presto, looks like new....

thanks
Jim
