ive bought a 12G295 a sw5 and 1.5 carb now i just need someone to put it in for me what will i expect in bhp from this setup.?
as 54bhp at the wheels sounds brill tome whats all this compression and stuff as im a bit thick and can you only get the readings if you go on a rolling road?

depends how well setup but with decent head work and good fuelling u could be looking at approaching 50hp. Fraid the only way to find out ur power is from some sort of dyno. (preparing to be corrected)

here mine graph this is a low compression 998 56K on the clock (36 years old) twin 1.25" carbs a 12G295 head no major work on it just recon'd by morspeed. 1.75" freeflow manifold and center Peco exhaust

that looks a bit low, but i suppose it is low compression. My completely standard 998 (71k miles) has 50bhp...

50 on a standard 998 isnt bad at all! I am thinking of keeping my 998 for insurance reasons.
