Help! My head is stuck on!

I've un-done all of the bolts on the top of the head, removed the rocker cover and all the thermostat gear but it still wont budge. Any idea if I've missed anything or any tips how to get the head off? I don't want to just whack it with a big hammer and find out I've missed something!

could try turning the car over a little bit

with plug leads off as you dont want it to fire up

Take all the studs out the head (if you can) then hit it sideways with a hammer....put a bit of wood in the way 1st so not to crack anything.

Thats what I'd try.
