
HIF44 or Webber

Do I go for a HIF44 which is on it already just knackered or do I go for a webber??
I am very unsure!

Hello, I am looking for a new carb for my Freestyle Kit car and am unsure what will be best.

It depends on the power of your engine. I'd have said for a 1275, standard to mildly modified, an HIF would be best. For a highly modified 1275 upwards I'd go for the Webber. But remember you may have to fit a bulkhead box and it won't be too fuel efficient!

Bearing in mind Danny's engine is sat at the back, he doesn't have a standard bulkhead to worry about. It sticks out of the back, here's mine before I put the SVA cover on, ignore the red lines the image was for another forum explaining fail areas.But remember you may have to fit a bulkhead box and it won't be too fuel efficient!

its a 1275cc that has +30 on the pistons when I took the head off, so I think that made it a 1293cc. and thats it i think.
I have 1:5 rockers too.
